Borderlands: The Pre-sequel gets third person mod

Modders on PC are at it again and have come up with a third person mod for Borderlands: The Pre-sequel. Being a first person game from the get go, the third person mod allows players to play Borderlands: The Pre-sequel from a new perspective.

The mod was developed by YouTuber TFXLive, who made a similar one for Borderlands 2 as well. Playing first person games in third person adds a new dimension to the game, it works especially well in games like Borderlands where the character’s look is customizable but only viewable by players while paused in the menu screen.

If you’re interested in installing the mode and giving it a try for yourself then check out the view below for the complete instructions:

One downside to the mod is that melee weapons will not be viewable when in third person mode. Also if you’re playing the game with a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard combo, then the process become a bit complicated.

If you’re trying out the mod then do let us know your impressions in the comments below.

Borderlands: The Pre-sequel is currently available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
