Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect Coming On Smartphones Next Year

Square Enix has announced that a new game is on its way in the Bravely default franchise. This new game will be titled as Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect and it is being produced for smart phones. According to Square Enix this game will be released somewhere during 2017.

Bravely Default is a RPG developed by Silicon Studio for Nintendo 3DS. It was released initially way back in 2012 and since then it has become a major title for Square Enix and Nintendo. Therefore this decision to bring the game on smart phones might be a sign that more games like this will be coming to the small screen in the future.

Bravely Default is set in the imaginary world of Luxendarc. There are four elemental crystals in this world that have been consumed by darkness and thus in order to revive them, Agnès Oblige, vestal of the Wind Crystal has set on a journey along with a few allies. Agnès will come across various evil paths as the journey unfolds.

Square Enix also announced that that there will be a closed beta test for this new title in the near future before the game is officially launched. According to plans the beta test will be conducted on a first come first serve basis, on 5000 Android users before the full launch.
