Zelda Breath of the Wild: How To Increase Inventory Size

While exploring the world of Hyrule, players will pick up hundreds of items that will aid them on their journey in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Unfortunately, you will not be able to carry all those items due to the inventory size.

In the game, players will have to manage their inventory, and will often find themselves selling their items to vendors. The low inventory space will force players to sell items that they might want to keep. This guide will be able to solve that problem by helping you increase you inventory size.

How To Increase Inventory Space In Zelda Breath of the Wild:

To increase their inventory space, players simply have to complete a quest given by an NPC located near the Kakariko Bridge. Look for a tree like creature that is standing near the path towards the east.

The creature is called Hestu, and it will ask players to find and bring back the Maracas that were stolen from him. To find the thieves, go down the path he is stood next to, and follow it until you see a small opening on the right that you can go through. Defeat the enemies inside and you will find a chest that will have the stolen Maracas inside it.

Once you have the Maracas, return to Hestu and hand them over. Now that you have completed the quest, you will need Korok Seeds. When you give Hestu the seeds, he will increase your inventory space by one. Continue giving him the seeds, but keep in mind that the cost of the additional inventory space will increase each time you buy it.

After buying a few inventory slots from Hestu, he will disappear. If you want to further expand your inventory space, you will have to travel to Korok Forest. You should be able to find Hestu easily, and he will further expand you inventory size if you give him more Korok Seeds.

Once he moves to the Korok Forest, you should have an easier time gathering Korok Seeds if you are running low. The seeds are fairly common and can be found near trees in the forest. Hopefully this guide helped you increase your inventory space. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now available on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
