Call of Duty Black Ops 3 PC Minimum Requirements revealed

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is being developed by Treyarch for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Unlike previous games in the series which would be released for previous generations as well, Black Ops 3 is current gen only. Treyarch today released the minimum system specifications for PC users so they know if their hardware is good enough for the game or not.

A Beta for the game was also announced with a potential release date and duration covered here.

Releasing the system requirements this early makes us think that maybe this time a Call of Duty game will finally have a proper PC version instead of the shoddy ports we’ve been getting for all these years.

Check out below the full Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Minimum System Requirements:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 8, and 8.1
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-530 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 810 2.60 GHz
  • System RAM: 6GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 470 1GB / ATi Radeon HD 6970 1GB
  • Hard Drive Space: TBA
  • DirectX11

Well I don’t know much about PC gaming as I’m mainly a console user, but those specs sure look beefy for minimum settings. Hopefully the PC version of Black Ops 3 fulfils PC gamers’ expectations as it could prove to be a huge potential market for Activision.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is set for a November 6 release date.

What do you think of the specs? Let us know in the comments below.
