Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the latest entry in the popular first person shooter series. It is a game that is played by millions around the world and since the game is closer to its release, the official pre-loading has now started for the game on the PS4.
If you still haven’t managed to start the pre-load on your PS4, you can try to manually start it by going to Black Ops 3 in your game library on PS4 and then hitting the download button for either Zombies or Multiplayer mode. This will initiate the pre-load on your PS4, which should be <12 GB. Although keep in mind that this is just the bare minimum size of the game in order to boot before it downloads the full game. The full game is around 45 GB and after downloading the initial 12 GB, the rest of the download will continue in the background.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the first game in the series that has exclusive content on PlayStation 4. It is also the first time when all the future DLC content will be released first on the PS4, and then later for the Xbox One and PC.
If you are planning to pick the game on PS3 or Xbox 360, keep in mind that the game is confirmed to run at 30 fps on these platforms, and it also lacks the single player mode and only has the multiplayer. Activision has also confirmed that PS3 and Xbox 360 might not get all the future DLC content.
