Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 retains 1080p resolution from beta, first direct-feed ps4 screens leaked

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, the latest entry in Activision’s popular first person shooter franchise, is among the most anticipated games this Fall. Given its popularity and the fact that its official launch date of November 6 is merely days away, the game has broken street date in several regions of the world. As a result, new media from Treyarch’s latest Call of Duty title is beginning to surface on the internet.


We’ve got our hands on some direct-feed screenshots from the PS4 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. They can be seen in the gallery below.

Our resident pixel counter put these PS4 screenshots through their paces, and the results are hardly unexpected, as the game’s multiplayer beta also ran at the same native resolution on the console. We can now confirm that, in addition to the multiplayer, the game’s campaign mode also runs at a native resolution of 1080p (1920 x 1080) on Sony’s current generation platform.
