Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Confirmed By Activision, Full Reveal On May 17

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been officially confirmed by Activision today. The announcement was made with a trailer that teased the upcoming Black Ops 4. The logo of the game ditches the roman numerals and goes straight for simplicity by calling it Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII. It remains to be seen if this will be the final logo although it looks more likely now. To save the embarrassment, we will just call it Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Along with the announcement for Black Ops 4, which is confirmed for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, Activision has shared the reveal date for Black Ops 4. They will hold a community event on May 17th will be the official reveal for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The global launch for the game was also confirmed to be on October 12th.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is being developed by Treyarch. They have worked on Black Ops 3 for the current generation consoles which coincidentally was updated recently to add some new features. Activision has usually updated a game to add new content if it is getting a sequel announcement so this turned out to be the case here as well.

Look forward to getting Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on October 12th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. As for the gameplay reveal, it might happen on May 17th or the upcoming E3 2018 which will start on June 12th.
