Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 is arguably one of the fan favorite game in the series. It is usually considered the peak of the series with an exceptional single player campaign and an excellent multiplayer. Black Ops took the series to new heights after the success of Modern Warfare and now it is finally playable on the Xbox One thanks to backwards compatibility.
Microsoft has confirmed that this Treyarch classic is now playable on the Xbox One. If you own a digital or retail copy of the game, you can now play the game on your Xbox One and take advantage of the backwards compatibility to avoid getting it again.
Call of Duty: Black Ops was one of the most requested backwards compatible game for the Xbox One along with Red Dead Redemption. Now that it is finally playable, maybe Microsoft can also release Red Dead Redemption for Xbox One backwards compatibility.
