Call of Duty Ghosts Xbox One Version Compared to Xbox 360; Resolution, Frame Rate and Graphics

Call of Duty: Ghosts runs at a resolution of just 720p on the Xbox One, but how does it compare graphically to the Xbox 360? Thanks to the info shared by Moonlightswami, we can get a decent idea of how the Call of Duty: Ghosts Xbox One version compares to the Xbox 360 version.

Moonlightswami  has played both versions of the game and was able to post comparison shots for both of them. According to him, the game has a much more steady frame rate on the Xbox One and the controller is also an obvious improvement over the Xbox 360. Of course, the game looks better on the Xbox One, speaking in terms of graphics.

We know that the Wii U version of Ghosts runs at a resolution of 880×720. Since Black Ops 2 had the same resolution on all current generation platforms, including Nintendo’s Wii U, we can expect the same for the Xbox 360 version. Hence, here we are talking about one version having a resolution of 880×720 while the other one having a resolution of 1280×720. Both of them are running at 60 fps though. The Xbox One holds the obvious advantage here in terms of a more stable frame rate.

While we haven’t gotten reviews for the Xbox One version of Ghosts yet, the PlayStation 4 version has been reviewed by several outlets. According to a couple of them, they did face frame rate issues in Call of Duty: Ghosts on PlayStation 4. We have compiled a couple of review excerpts here, which talk about the frame rate issues specifically.

You can check out an image below, which shows both versions of the game.
