After having a successful weekend, the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta went offline this past Tuesday. However, Infinity Ward announced that the Beta will be live once again this Friday, for both PS4 and Xbox One.
Although the Beta was expected to go live tomorrow, Infinity Ward treated the fans to the Beta a day early. The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta weekend 2 is now live. This means that once again, fans will be getting an extra day to play the Beta as it will end this coming Monday.
As we reported earlier this week, the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map, Terminal, is also part of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta. The map has been remastered into a space station, rather then an airport as it was in Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward also made a few changes to the map which you will notice when you play the Beta.
Alongside the new map, Infinity Ward added a new game mode to the Beta as well. The new game mode, Frontline, has been added to the game. The description for Frontline reads, “You always spawn at your base, Use teamwork to eliminate players on the opposing team. First team to reach the score limit wins”.
You can download the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta now for the PS4 and Xbox One. If you are a PS4 user, who has not pre-ordered Infinite Warfare yet, then you can still download the Beta to try the game out for yourself. Unfortunately, Xbox One users have to pre-order the game to download the Beta.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be available on November 4th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
