Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has received a brand new update today for the PS4 and Xbox One. This update adds the Infected Mode to the game along with a couple of new additions.
Infected Mode originally started as a April Fool’s joke in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It has been added to Call of Duty: Ghosts while it was also available in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. This new update finally adds Infected Mode to the game.
According to early reports, the infected mode appears to support no split-screen for couch co-op, so if you were hoping for some offline fun, you will have to look into another mode.
The prestige icons have also received an increase in their size and now they look bigger and better than before thanks to bigger size. Players were complaining about the small size of the Prestige emblems and Infinity Ward appears to have looked into it and finally increased them with today’s update.
Player stats can also been seen in the Lobby menu, which was disabled for some strange reason before the release of this new patch. For some other changes, Weapon camos have been updated so they properly reflect the change in their design.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
