Activision has announced that actor Kit Harington will appear in Infinity Ward’s Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Many of you may recognise him as the Game Of Thrones star, Jon Snow, but instead of appearing as a friendly face this time around, he will star as the game’s leading villain.
Kit Harington will take on the role of “the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front,” says narrative director Taylor Kurosaki.
Director Guy Ritchie, who previously took charge when shooting the live-action trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops II, was brought in to assist on production during Harrington’s filming, in order to bring his villainous role to life. Activision has also released a sneak peek at Harington’s work.
Infinity Ward studio head Dave Stohl said in a statement accompanying the announcement: “It meant a lot to us to develop the role into everything it could be. We’re excited about the performance Kit delivered and can’t wait to get it out to the public.”
Stay tuned for more on Infinite Warfare later this month at this year’s E3. Activision also recently revealed that at the Call Of Duty XP event later this year, Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer will be revealed.
