Call of Duty WWII is the next iteration in the popular Call of Duty franchise. The game is being developed by Sledgehammer Games who have previously worked on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. They appear to be following this release after Infinity Ward released Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
Call of Duty: WWII is a return back to the series’ roots with more ground approach to the story and multiplayer. It is set during the World War 2 setting just like its competitor Battlefield 1 decided to go back into the past with World War 1.
Call of Duty: WWII won’t be out until a whole week but those who have pre-ordered it on the PlayStation Store can now digitally preload their copy of the game ahead of its official launch. The initial download size for the preload is around 11 GB while the full game is more than 56 GB in size. This likely doesn’t include the install size along with the day one patch so expect it to be even bigger as the game requires close to 90 GB of hard disk space.
Call of Duty WWII will be released on November 4th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is being developed by Sledgehammer Games and will be published by Activision.
