Call of Duty 2014 (Modern Warfare 4) info supposedly leaked

Popular Call of Duty YouTuber Drift0r supposedly received some information about a brand new Call of Duty game which is most likely this year’s Call of Duty title. Call of Duty 2014 is confirmed to be in development at Sledgehammer Games, who co-developed Modern Warfare 3 with Infinity Ward.

Infinity Ward as you may very well know made last year’s Call of Duty: Ghosts, and with the ending of the single player campaign clearly showing that the story is not finished, they’re mostly likely working on a sequel to Ghosts. Now that leaves the highly successful Modern Warfare sub-IP, and knowing Activision, they won’t let it die off.

Drift0r received some of game assets and media files in his YouTube inbox by an anonymous tipster. Now Drift0r is a very trustworthy guy, proved by his leaks last year with Ghosts which proved to be mostly true. He refused to share said files to protect the leaker.

He summed up the leak in a video, check it out below:

Some highlights are below:

  • The game looks to be in the future, around 2020-ish.
  • Only gun seen looked similar to something out of Titanfall
  • Better textures compared to Call of Duty: Ghosts
  • Great physics

Looking forward to the next Call of Duty game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
