Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is already achieving record amount of viewers on Twitch placing it among the Top 5 most streamed games.
This is despite the fact that the game won’t be out until October 12th, but some users already have an early retail copy as it was allowed by Activision due to the massive day one patch, which is reportedly 50 GB. This day one update is mandatory to play the game and once the servers were online, a swarm of players started to live stream on Twitch.
Fortnite has kept the crown of the most popular game that constantly gets streamed on Twitch followed by League of Legends, but with Black Ops 4 and especially its Blackout Battle Royale mode, perhaps Activision can also get a huge success on their hands.
Battle Royale is a popular genre among live streamers but the surprising part of Black Ops 4 is that no big name streamer like Ninja or Dr. Disrespect is streaming it, and despite this, the game is attracting a large number of views. It will be interesting to see its launch day figures once it is officially unlocked for the PC and digital crowd on consoles.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be available on October 12th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
