Call of Duty: WWII Boxart Confirms 4K And HDR Support For the Xbox One X

Call of Duty: WWII will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One. While the game has been confirmed to support the PS4 Pro, the support for the Xbox One X was still up in the air. The official boxart for the game has now confirmed the Xbox One X specific features including 4K UHD and HDR support.

Call of Duty: WWII is set to launch on November 3rd. It will be out before the release of the Xbox One X so fans were wondering about the support for Xbox One X hardware. The developers have yet to comment on it but thanks to the final boxart of the Xbox One version of the game, we can now confirm that the game will indeed launch with support for the improved hardware of the Xbox One X.

Call of Duty: WWII will take the series back to its roots after years of futuristic stories. The game is being developed by Sledgehammer Games who have previously worked on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. While the boxart of the game confirms 4K support, it is possible that the resolution of the game might not be native 4K as Microsoft’s official explanation of the 4K UHD logo on boxart state that it can be dynamic or checkerboard 4K as well.

Call of Duty: WWII will be released on Novemebr 3rd for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
