Call of Duty: WWII has received a brand new update today for the PS4 and Xbox One, however the release of this new patch hasn’t been received as well with multiple reports of issues with the game after installing this update. The first major issue that seems to be plaguing most users is that the HQ mode is now running at a lower frame rate than the main game on the PS4 Pro. Most seem to suggest that it runs at 30 fps, but there seems to be a solution for it.
According to a post made by reddit user, the solution to the frame rate in HQ mode is rather simple. You just have to watch a video in the theater mode and this can fix the frame rate. Judging from this, it is possible that this can be fixed rather quickly. If you are still having next to no user online in your HQ, you have to wait a while since according to the game director, the HQ will slowly get populated over time if all goes well today.
As for other issues, some have reported the game crashing if you open the supply drops, the game can freeze. This seems to apply to the division prestige only so far and hopefully can be fixed in an update.
This update also bans users who have used the Prestige exploit. They can be banned for more than 2 days based on this exploit.
Call of Duty: WWII is available now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The current update is only available on consoles and it hasn’t been planned for PC yet.
