Call of Duty: WWII Update 1.08 Is Now Live, Ends Winter Siege Event

Call of Duty: WWII has received a brand new update today on the PS4. The update will go live soon for the Xbox One although there is no word on a PC version. According to a tweet by the official Sledgehammer Games account, this update is reportedly removing Winter Siege from the game.

We’ve rolled out an update to end #WinterSiege, and Captain Butcher is packing up and heading out. You can still complete Orders in progress and open unopened supply drops, and the Winter Collection will still be available. However, Winter Collection Rewards will not.

The download size of this new update is less than 2 GB on the PS4. As the tweet confirms, if you have missed out on the rewards from the Winter Siege event, you won’t be able to collect the rewards now.

Call of Duty: WWII is the latest game in the popular first person shooter. It goes back to the classic WWII setting with a focus on more ground combat. The game is available now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC and features support for the hardware of the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X as well.

Let us know if you have noticed any other major change after installing this new update in the comments below.
