There is a new Call of Duty: WWII update version 1.23 on PS4. It is also available on the Xbox One and PC. Here’s what it does.
Activision and Sledgehammer Games are still actively updated Call of Duty: WWII despite the release of the latest Call of Duty game with Black Ops 4. The new update has dropped without any official announcement from Activision and it is reportedly more than 2 GB on PS4 and Xbox One. It has also been deployed for PC.

There are no official patch notes available for this update, but we will share any information that we can find in the meanwhile.
There was a playlist update scheduled for October 12 but other than that, there is no word from the developers. The last major update for the game was released around Halloween last month and was focused on it as an event. It has been available for a while now and further details about it can be found here. This update could possibly be related to a new event or ending the one that was released before Halloween, but the size is far too big to be a simple update.
