Capcom Comments On ‘Connection Errors’ For Monster Hunter World On PC

Capcom has finally acknowledged the connection errors that are currently being faced by players on PC. This has resulted in a lot of negative reviews being posted for the game on Steam resulting in the game dropping to mixed reviews overall at 50% rating.

Today, Capcom shared an official comment on the state of the PC port and stated that they are looking into the connection errors that are currently being experienced by players who try to depart into a quest multiple times.

We have been receiving numerous reports that players are experiencing connection errors after every several times they depart on quests. We are currently investigating the cause of this and are working with Valve to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We will keep you informed of further developments in this matter. We thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

Despite all the issues experienced by the users, Monster Hunter World is currently on its way to become the best selling Japanese game on Steam. It has also sold through an estimated 10 million copies across all platforms after the PC version launched last week.

Monster Hunter World is available now on PC. The game has utilized Denuvo DRM which has also sparked its own debate since it blocks usage of mods. It is also available on the PS4 and Xbox One.
