Capcom Might Be Hinting At Resident Evil 3 Remake

Resident Evil 2 Remake was just revealed at E3 2018 and Capcom has already announced a release date for it. The game will be available on January 29th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It is a full remake of the original Resident Evil 2 that was released for the PS1.

This Remake will be developed on Capcom’s own internal engine that they call RE Engine. The same engine is used for the upcoming Devil May Cry 5. It is a fairly competitive engine that seems to be well suited to the limitations of the current generation consoles and can also show some pretty visuals.

The official Resident Evil Twitter account recently shared an image of the Nemesis from Resident Evil 3. This wasn’t a new concept art but more of a cardboard cutout, however, this resulted in the fans speculating that they might be teasing a Resident Evil 3 Remake.

Capcom has already released a remake for the original Resident Evil 1 so after working on Resident Evil 2, it is not out of the possibility to imagine that they might go for a remake of Resident Evil 3. One of the earlier rumors for Resident Evil 2 pointed towards Capcom remaking the 3rd game as well, but there is no official word on it so far.
