Capcom Looking to Fix Bug Issues in ‘Dragon’s Dogma’

Capcom employee, GregaMan, posted a PSA (Public Service Announcement) to anyone unlucky enough to encounter a bug within the “downloadable Title Update” (patch) that Capcom released. Here is a quote from the post:

“A number of users have encountered an unforeseen issue with a recent downloadable Title Update (patch). The TU, in some cases, has caused players’ DD save data to become corrupted (cue Olra purification jokes), meaning the game will no longer save or load their game progress.”

The patch was suppose to reward players that bought the initial copy of the game so they would be able to transfer their saves to the updated version Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. Instead of rewarding, this acts as a deterrent to anyone that would have been interested in Capcom’s attempt to revitalize people’s interests in Capcom branded RPG’s (myself included).

To get around this issue. Capcom implores consumers to save their data externally or simply play offline until the issue is rectified.
