Child of Light is a gorgeous looking RPG with a great soundtrack. It was released on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U and the PC last month and it is going to make its way to the PS Vita in July.
Child of Light uses UbiArt Framework, which is the engine powering the newly released Rayman reboot. It allows the developers to bring their breathtaking art to life in a unique way, that looks great on the screen. Previously, this engine was used to make two Rayman games, both of whom are on the PS Vita. So it was surprising to see Child of Light missing a PS Vita release since the engine was already ported to the platform.
Ubisoft has now finally announced an official release date for Child of Light on the PS Vita, which is going to be released on the PS Vita on July 1st in NA and July 2nd in EU. You can get a digital copy or a retail copy of the PS Vita version in EU, which will come with additional game content, but the NA release is strictly digital. The price is $14.99 for NA and £11.99 for EU.
