COD: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Beta Announced For Regular And Battle Royale Mode

Treyarch has announced a multiplayer beta for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. This multiplayer beta will be divided into 2 stages. The first is a private multiplayer beta test that will be initially available on the PS4 and it will go live on August 4th. PC and Xbox One users can get a chance to play the private multiplayer beta the next week once it is available on the PS4.

The second multiplayer beta is for the Battle Royale mode called Blackout, which is the first time in the series that fans are getting a large-scale open world map with more than 50 players. This mode is replacing the traditional story mode in the retail game and it will also get a beta test later in September.

  • PlayStation 4 (Starts: August 3 at 10am/PT – Ends: August 6 at 10am/PT)
  • PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (Starts: August 10 at 10am/PT – Ends: August 13 at 10am/PT)
  • PC Beta Early Access (Starts: August 10 at 10am/PT) *PC exclusively on Battle.Net
  • PC Open Beta (Starts: August 11 at 10am/PT – Ends: August 13 at 10am/PT)

For the Private Multiplayer Beta, players will begin fighting through six maps – two of which will make their first public appearance. Modes of Play
The Private Multiplayer Beta will feature fan-favorite game modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Search & Destroy, alongside our brand-new objective-based game mode, Control, which was designed to bring out the best of Black Ops 4 Multiplayer gameplay.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be available on October 12th, 2018 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
