Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be released on November 4th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It is being developed by Raven Software, who have done an excellent job on this remaster as we have covered in detail in our review of the single player campaign.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is available as early access to those who have pre-ordered the Legacy or Legacy Pro edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on the PS4. The game will officially launch on November 4th along with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Raven Software’s Lead Designer Amos Hodge recently talked about the Prestige levels and unlocks featured in the new Modern Warfare Remastered.
In his tweets, he confirmed that the game will have 20 prestige levels, which is 10 more than the original prestige levels in Modern Warfare. In addition, he confirmed the 10 new prestige levels will have new icons while the first 10 prestige levels will feature the old Modern Warfare 1 icons.
When it comes to the unlocks for each of the prestige levels, we learn that there will be a permanent unlock token and an extra create-a-class slot for reaching each of the prestige levels.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is confirmed for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It will launch with 10 multiplayer maps while more will be added at a later date, as free or paid DLCs.
