Bandai Namco has shared the release date for Code Vein, their upcoming action RPG. This is the next project from God Eater devs and it seems to be inspired by the aesthetics of the Souls series by focusing on a 1 vs. 1 combat with difficult encounters.
Code Vein will launch on September 28th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game will be released digitally through Steam on PC while the PS4 and Xbox One users can enjoy a Collector’s Edition of the game along with the Standard retail release.
The collector’s edition includes the base game on PlayStation and Xbox One and an exclusive figurine of Mia Karnstein, one of the main characters. With a size of 17 cm, Mia figurine will impress with her deadly Blood Veil. The collector’s edition also includes digital’s content with the access to the original soundtrack, a digital artbook and an in-game customization set: the insatiable bloodthirst for all characters.
Code Vein is usually described as an anime Souls clone however it seems to have its own unique style. There are some similarities to the Souls series but that’s where the comparison ends.
Code Vein is currently being developed by Bandai Namco. It will be out on September 28th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
