Cosmic Star Heroine finally reaches its Kickstarter funding goal

Cosmic Star Heroine is a upcoming Science Fiction/Spy  RPG from developer Zeboyd Games. It had a funding goal of 100k and it seems to have surpassed it now.

Zeboyd Games are the maker of RPGs like Breath of Death VII: The Beginning, Cthulhu Saves The World, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 3 and Episode 4. They have said that Cosmic Star Heroine will be inspired by classics like Chrono Trigger, Suikoden and Phantasy Star.

The gameplay will be traditional turn-based combat system that is popular in old-school RPGs. They have added their own customization to this system with their own level-up system for character customization. We can also execute multi-character combo technique like in Chrono Trigger. The game will also have multiple difficulty levels to challenge the players.

Zeboyd Games is promising animated cutscenes like the SNES era RPGs and minimal grinding, which definitely makes it a lot more appealing in our eyes.

Cosmic Star Heroine will be released in 2014 for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VITA. They have promised a December 2014 release date for the game but we don’t know if this is indeed the final release date.
