Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy might be heading to the PC and Nintendo Switch according to a new rumor. The source of the rumor is a licensing merchandise company based in Europe so while it is not exactly an official confirmation, there might be some validity to it. Still, it is best to take this rumor with a grain of salt.
According to a statement made by Max Arguile, Licensing Manager of GB Eye, a licensed merchandising company in Europe, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy might be heading to the Nintendo Switch and PC this year. He also talks about a new Crash game in 2019 and how Activision has plans for the Crash franchise until 2022.
While the statement made by the manager can also end up just being his assumption, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has always been considered a PlayStation 4 exclusive. The lack of mention for the Xbox One version of the game could point towards a marketing deal between Sony and Activision but this makes the mention of Switch even more curious here. As for a brand new Crash game, Activision has already shown interest in remastering more Crash games if the Trilogy was successful, and once it was considered a huge success, it is not hard to image they are working on more games with the next launching in 2019.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is currently available on the PS4. It was developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision.
