Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a PlayStation 4 console exclusive that was originally revealed by Sony at their E3 2016 press conference. The game is a complete remaster of the first 3 Crash Bandicoot games that were initially released for the PS1. The remastered package contains 3 games and it is being sold for $40.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has proven to be a surprise hit for Activision by becoming the best selling console exclusive launch in UK. It was able to sell more than PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn making it an impressive feat for the long dormant franchise.
While Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is currently only listed for the PS4, there are rumors surrounding the exclusivity of the game with some listing it as timed exclusive. These rumors were given further importance with the leak of a release date for the Xbox One version of the game. The release date was listed on the reliable UK retailer, Base.com. They have the game listed for the Xbox One and launching on December 8th.
This is a rumor for now since Activision has yet to announce any other platforms for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy but since they own the IP, there is a good chance that it might end up being a multiplatform game after all.
