Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was confirmed for the PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch today. The game is now due out on July 10 for these platforms. Fans who had played the original release on the PS4 might have an idea about the Naughty Dog easter eggs that were a part of the game’s opening cutscene. They were mostly easter eggs like Naughty Dog sticker or the picture of Nathan Drake and they have all been removed in the PC, Xbox One and Switch version.
The two images below confirm the changes that have been made to the cutscene in order to remove references to Naughty Dog. While they are the original developer of the trilogy during the PlayStation 1 generation, they are now a first party studio at Sony Interactive Entertainment so it would be hard to see their easter egg being kept for the multiplatform release.
The first reference can be seen on the laptop where Coco Bandicoot appears to look at a scene from Uncharted 4. This has been changed to a shot of Crash Bandicoot. The other reference was in the form of a sticker on the laptop for Coco Bandicoot while the last reference was seen as a picture of Nathan Drake was featured in the house of Crash Bandicoot. It is not hard to see it getting removed as well.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will launch on July 10th for the PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
