Crash Bandicoot release date was leaked a few days ago on a Finnish retailer known as VPD.fi. The listing was discovered on Reddit, which mentioned that the game will release on February 28th, 2017.
The series was originally exclusive to PlayStation, and was created by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin while they were working on ‘Naughty Dog’ for Sony Computer Entertainment. Since then, this series has appeared on multiple platforms and has gone through several developers.
The main games in the series are mostly platformer, while various other spin-offs are also made using Crash Bandicoot name. In most of them, Crash must defeat Cortex and prevent any world domination plans that he might have.
A second retailer listing was spotted at Zilliongames, a Brazilian retailer, which also stated that the game will be released on February 28th, 2017.
Sony had announced the remaster of the original Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped at their press conference earlier this year. These remasters were announced at E3 2016 event for the PS4. As no official date was given for when these games will be made available to the players, this new leaked date could be for the remaster.
