The Avengers Project from Crystal Dynamics is proving to be quite ambitious and the creative director has recently shared a comment on when they are going to show it.
Shaun Escayg has previously worked at Naughty Dog and he is the creative director for this new “The Avengers Project” by Crystal Dynamics. In a tweet that was posted recently, he thanked the fans who were anxiously waiting for their game and called it a ‘very ambitious’ project saying that when the time is right, they will reveal it to the public.
Thanks everyone for all of your interest in The Avengers Project. We’re hard at work on this very ambitious game, and are excited to share more when the time is right.#reassemble @CrystalDynamics

It was recently speculated that The Avengers Project might get a reveal at The Game Awards 2018. One of the reasons why it started was due to the presence of the Russo Brothers who have worked on the Avengers films. They are currently in post-production phase for Avengers: Endgame which is due out in April next year. Despite them attending The Game Awards, there was no reveal for any Avengers game from Square Enix save for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 for the Nintendo Switch.
Before The Game Awards, the official website was updated and the developers had some cryptic tweet which further added fuel to the fire, but it all turned out to be nothing in the end. Perhaps we can look forward to finally seeing this Avengers Project one day, but it is not going to be this year.
