Cyberpunk 2077’s Publisher for Turkey, Bilkom, claims that the much awaited FPSRPG will release next year in 2019.
Bilkom have been partnered with CD ProjektRed for a while now as they also published the Witcher games in the region. A screenshot of the tweet, which has now been deleted, is below:
Developers CD ProjektRed have so far stayed away from a discussion of the game’s release date, mentioning several times that the game “will release when its ready”.
It has to be noted however that they were quiet for so long until the huge burst of information, trailer and gameplay that started at E3 2018 earlier this year. If we go by their history, CD ProjektRed only showcases their upcoming games this strongly when they’re close to release.
I for one think the game will definitely come out next year, probably late 2019. After the game is supposedly already playable from start to finish.
In related news the game is confirmed to have a Photo Mode and unfortunately fan favorite Witcher heroine won’t be making an appearance in the game.
The game is currently in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
