The Japanese video game development company, Spike Chunsoft has announced that their adventure title Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc will be released for PC via Steam in February.
The game was originally released for PlayStation Portable back in November 2010. Along with its sequel, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, it was later released for PS Vita in October 2013 and now, an enhanced version of the game will be released on PC next month. The company confirmed the PC release with an announcement trailer. You can have a look at it below.
In Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, you play as Makoto Naegi, who is a member of some elite students from Hope’s Peak Academy. Instead of studying, they find themselves under the rule of Monokuma, an evil bear. The bear than traps those students and promises to free anyone who commits a murder.
There will be Class Trials in which you will have to gather proof and evidence to figure out who the culprits are. It will be your duty to free everyone from the curse of Monokuma.
The Steam page of the game is already live and according to it, those who buy the game early will get its original soundtrack as a bonus.
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc will be released on PC next month. The third major installment in the Danganronpa series, New Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shingakki was announced for PS Vita and PS4 sometime ago which is set to release some time in 2016.
