Early E3 news for us all now. An advert placed on top of the Los Angeles Convention Centre (I’m English, bugger off) which will host E3 this year has revealed the release date of Dark Souls 2, March 2014.
Dark Souls 2 is the well anticipated sequel to Dark Souls, From Software’s spiritual sequel to their own earlier game Demon’s Souls. Dark Souls is known as a very challenging game to say the least, TV smashing at times to be truthful, so the next in the franchise has a lot to live up to. The early gameplay trailer does look promising. If you have yet to see it, check here.
I for one am looking forward to it. I imported Demon’s Souls from Japan on the PS3 and bought Dark Souls day one for the very same console, later buying it on the PC when the prepare to die edition was released. Dark Souls 2 will find itself stored safely on my PC hard-drive also.
