Bandai Namco has revealed a brand new trailer for its forthcoming action-RPG, Dark Souls 3. The trailer is titled “True Colors of Darkness” and features the track “True Colors”, which was originally performed by pop artist Cyndi Lauper.

The gameplay footage serves as a reminder of all the perils that await Souls fans come April 12. The trailer teases several new areas as well as boss battles. According to series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki, the game closely follows the design philosophy of its predecessor, Dark Souls 2.
Dark Souls 3’s development started sometime in 2013 before the release of Dark Souls 2. Upon finishing work on the PS4 exclusive Bloodborne, Miyazaki served as the game’s co-director alongside Isamu Okano, who has previously directed Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor.
Developer From Software’s latest Souls title is set to launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.on April 12 in North America and Europe. Meanwhile, fans in Japan will get their hands on the game a little earlier on March 24.
