Sony Bend’s Days Gone has been delayed to early 2019. It was originally set to launch this year according to Shuhei Yoshida, who revealed this information at PSX last year. The game is now aiming for a release next year and GameInformer are covering it with an exclusive look at the development of the game.
As a part of their coverage, GameInformer talked with the creative director John Garvin. The interview was aimed at addressing some of the skepticism surrounding the launch of the game. The interesting part of the interview was regarding the play time for Days Gone, which is reportedly going to take almost as long as the recently released God of War or even Detroit: Become Human.
According to John Garvin, it can take you around 30 hours to finish Days Gone, or even longer depending on the choices that you will make along the way, your experience is going to be different.
“The golden path is going to take you about 30 hours, but it’s going to take you a lot longer than that because things are going to happen to you along the way depending on how careful you are and how much you pay attention.”
Days Gone is an open world zombie survival horror game. It is currently being developed by Sony Bend Studio exclusively for the PS4.
