Dead by Daylight has received a new update version 2.3.2 on PC and will launch on PS4 and Xbox One later. This is related to the Hallowed Blight event. Read the full patch notes here.
Dead by Daylight’s new update will fix some of the issues that fans are experiencing for the Hallowed Blight event, which ends on November 2nd. Here is what is included in this update that is live on PC, and should be available on other consoles later.
Dead By Daylight Update Version 1.45 For PS4 [Patch Notes 2.3.2] PC And Xbox One
- Adjusted the Hallowed Blight widget to reflect the merging of survivor & killer event objectives
- Fixed an issue causing event vial progress to get reset for the killers when completing a survivor objective or vice-versa. This issue was originally introduced with the merging of event objectives.
Here is a more detailed breakdown of the changes planned to fix the issue with Hallowed Blight event.
**• The menu displaying progress still shows two separate counters. Both counters show the same X/60 counter and update simultaneously. This will be addressed in an upcoming patch to merge the two counters and make this clearer.
• The other side effect is that switching between roles will cause any vial progress made in the previous role to be lost. For example, a partially filled vial of a Survivor player will be emptied if they complete a vial as a Killer. Again, this will be addressed with the upcoming patch.**
Dead by Daylight is available now on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
