Dead or Alive 6 Gets Free-To-Play Demo, Out Now On All Platforms

Dead or Alive 6 is getting a completely free-to-play demo that is available now on all platforms. This demo will offer limited fighters but comes with the whole game minus the full story mode included with it.

Koei Tecmo released Dead or Alive 6 as a standard fighting game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC just at the start of this month. The announcement of this free-to-play version comes quickly after the launch of the game, and it seems to follow the same model as the Dead or Alive 5: Core Fighters release on current generation consoles, which has been quite successful for Koei Tecmo.

Here’s what is included in this free-to-play version of Dead or Alive 6.

DEAD OR ALIVE 6: CORE FIGHTERS offers fighting game fans a limited look into the world of DOA6, including four base characters – Kasumi, Hitomi, Diego, and Bass – as well as online ranked battles, Versus, Arcade, Time Attack, Training, and Quest modes. In addition, DOA6’s introduction to Story mode will be unlocked, along with DOA Central, the hub for everything from wardrobe and music to the library and theater.

The full game has a total of over 25 fighters available to play, and while you can only pick from these four, you should have most of the other gameplay modes available to play in either offline or online mode.
