Death Stranding will get a new announcement on May 29 which has been speculated to be a new trailer with a possible release date. Hideo Kojima has also shared a teaser trailer for Death Stranding hinting at new gameplay footage.
Death Stranding is currently in development at Kojima Productions as a PS4 exclusive. Hideo Kojima is well known among the gaming community for his work on the Metal Gear Solid series and Death Stranding is his brand new IP with AAA production budget. It is exclusive to the PS4 and uses a custom game engine developed by Guerrilla Games.
Earlier today, Hideo Kojima shared a brand new teaser for the game with the title “Create the Rope.” Later, the official Twitter account confirmed that an announcement will happen on May 29.

The announcement was also teased with the same title of “Create the rope,” thus leading to speculation among fans that this might be a new trailer for Death Stranding and perhaps with an official release date this time.
Death Stranding is listed as one of the last major PS4 exclusives along with Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us Part 2. All three of these games still don’t have a release window or date given by Sony.
