Destiny 2 fans are in a treat today since the new Forsaken expansion will release for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Ahead of the launch of this new expansion, Bungie has released another update for Destiny 2 today that seems to offer more of the patch 2.0 changes that were shared earlier.
If you haven’t downloaded Destiny 2, it is now available free of cost in September if you have a valid PlayStation Plus subscription. You can then get the new Forsaken expansion which is available separate from the main game and costs $40. The patch notes for update version 1.24 can be seen here. The download size is rather large weighing in at 7 to 8 GB depending on your platform.
Destiny 2 has started its new year with the Forsaken expansion that will be available to everyone starting today. If you have bought the digital deluxe version of the vanilla Destiny 2, you will have to purchase this new expansion since it is separate from the main season pass.
Destiny 2’s last update patched the game to version 1.23 on PS4. This seems to be the second major update that coincides with the launch of the Forsaken expansion. A full list of changes and other major additions will be posted once available.
Destiny 2 is available now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It was developed by Bungie and published by Activision.
