It’s sad to see the Destiny Beta go as only a couple of days remain until it goes offline. 27th July is the day that the Destiny Beta goes offline and if you haven’t experienced everything that the Beta has to offer, then you’re missing out. Before the Beta goes offline, Bungie has a little surprise for us before that.
Bungie will be sending players to the Moon on the final day of the Destiny Beta. Fans will be able to travel to the Moon and play the mission which is currently locked. Bungie is doing this because they want to get as many players as possible to be online and connected to the Destiny Beta. Players from the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One will all be online at the same time and Bungie will be able to test how well their online infrastructure works with thousands of players online at once.
Players will be rewarded for their participation in the two hour event. They will get a special emblem which they will be able to use in the retail version of the game when it comes out in September. Take a look at the emblem below:
Sadly, we don’t know when this two hour event will be live. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Destiny comes out of the 9th of September and it will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
