Destiny: Rise of Iron to feature new campaign, places, cooperative & crucible content

During its Destiny: Rise of Iron live stream today, Bungie unveiled a complete breakdown of the new content that is to be included with the upcoming expansion. The new DLC, which will only be available for the PS4 and Xbox One, is set to arrive in September for the price of $30. Those who plan on getting into Destiny for the very first time will need to purchase Destiny: The Taken King separately before acquiring the expansion, bringing the total cost to $90.

Among the new locations featured in Rise of Iron is The Wall, which once stood for centuries along the southern border of Old Russia. It has now collapsed and Fallen mutants have made their way through the area and uncovered an dangerous plague that has become a growing threat for the living. Together with the aid of Lord Saladin, Guardians must journey into the Plaguelands and stop the plague from spreading.
