Destiny Rise of Iron Wrath of the Machines Heroic Mode Raid Out Now

A few hours ago, Bungie released a new update for Destiny. The update added the Heroic Mode for the new Wrath of the Machine raid and much more.

At 10AM PDT, Bungie released the update which adds the Hard mode, or the Heroic mode, for the new Wrath of the Machine raid. However, that’s not the only thing the update added to the game. Alongside the Heroic mode raid, the update made a few other changes to Destiny.

The update increased the light level cap from 385 to 400. Archon’s Forge can now drop rewards up to 385 Light, however, Archon’s Forge drops Ghosts and Artifact up to 400 Light. So Archon’s Forge is a great way to get high light level ghosts and artifacts. Events such as Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, Crucible, and Strike Hoards will now provide drops up to 400 Light as well.

The Heroic mode raid rewards players differently compared to the normal mode raid. In the Heroic mode Wrath of the Machine raid, bosses drop two SIVA Key Fragments, while the normal mode raid bosses dropped one. The Heroic mode raid also drops new weapons and gear like the new hand cannon, pulse rifle, sniper, sidearm, machine gun, new raid armor, ghost shell, and artifact.

On their website, Bungie also stated that the raid challenge modes will also be available today, however, no one has a clue what these challenges are at the moment. We will just have to wait and see.
