Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the release date for Detroit: Become Human today. In addition to the announcement for the release date, they have also shared 4K screenshots for the game taken from that also show some of the new characters that will be a part of the game.
Detroit: Become Human is the most ambitious game by Quantic Dream. It was developed on a brand new 3D engine that pushes the PS4 to its limits by offering “hundreds of highly realistic characters, full performance capture, scenes featuring crowds, all with a level of quality.”
The screenshots below are all in 4K and while there was no confirmation of the hardware used, they are likely going to be taken from the PS4 Pro version of the game, since this was the platform used for 4K screenshots shared by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Detroit: Become Human is the next game from David Cage and his studio Quantic Dream. The game basically offers a create your own story type of interactive adventure with multiple characters. David Cage has previously worked on similar genre games with Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. The studio is known for their cutting edge tech and impression animation and Detroit: Become Human seems to be offer some of the best looking visuals on a console.
Detroit: Become Human will launch on May 25th for the PS4.
