Devil May Cry 5: NYCC panel reveals return of Cerberus, new Hat Devil Arm and more

Some fresh news coming in from Devil May Cry 5’s NYCC panel where they revealed new weapons and styles.

The biggest reveal was return of fan favorite Devil Arm Cerberus from Devil May Cry 3. Canonically its one of the first Devil Arms used by Dante, so seeing it make a return in the new game hits us right in the nostalgia veins.

Cerberus will have three modes in Devil May Cry 5; the ice nunchucks that we’re used to, a lightning chain and a fire bo-staff.

Next we see Balrog, which was featured in the Devil May Cry 5 TGS 2018 trailer and gameplay showcases. Balrog is a set of attire made up of shoulder pads, grieves and gauntlets, check it out below:

Here’s some footage of Cavaliere, the motorcycle-twin-swords:

And finally here’s a new Devil Arm called the Faust Hat, it’s kind of a gun that shoots red orbs but returns more if you successfully land a combo. I’m kind of speechless, check it out:

The Faust Hat clearly refers to the amazing Gangster Outfit for Leon from Resident Evil 4.

The panel also revealed that Nico will be making Kalina Ann 2, a replica of Lady’s signature weapon, for Dante.

Angi and Rudra next please?
