Vergil is one of the pivotal characters in Devil May Cry 5 but he isn’t playable yet, could that be made possible in a DLC starring Vergil?.
For those who haven’t played the game yet, beware of spoilers in this post.
Vergil is the main boss of Devil May Cry 5 and the real identity of Urizen and V, who are the Demon and Human parts of Vergi’s existence respectfully. Although Vergil changes towards the end after being beaten by his son Nero, we never get to play as Dante’s twin brother.
The last playable appearance Vergil made in the series was Devil May Cry 4 back in 2008, although a younger version first made his appearance in Devil May Cry 3 back in 2005. Vergil has been a fan favorite ever since and everyone who finished the game has been wondering if Vergil could be playable in Devil May Cry 5 via a future DLC release.
Could we get Vergil DLC for Devil May Cry 5?
The possibility for this is certainly there as the game’s developers have stated that there will be DLC content released for the game in the future. The story of the game was also left pretty open ended so the DLC could feature events before and after those of DMC5.
We’re certainly hopeful for getting a Vergil DLC for Devil May Cry 5? What about you? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. DMC5 is available now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
