Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently only confirmed for the Xbox One and PS4, and a recent comment by Rockstar suggests it will stay this way.
Devolver Digital is a well-known indie publisher on PC and they approach Rockstar Games on Twitter to offer help for porting Red Dead Redemption 2. Of course, this might be more of a joke than a serious offer, since their social media account is known for making similar tweets in the past, nonetheless, it is still worth mentioning here.
Nobody has to know, we can keep this a secret from TakeTwo. We know a person at Steam and can set you up with PC dev kits. Like this tweet if you want to talk more.

Devolver Digital recently had a great success with Scum, which they helped to publish on PC. The game has now sold over 1 million copies on PC making it their biggest sales success so far. They still publish a lot of indie games on PC and are working on the recently announced Metal Wolf Chaos.
It should be noted that this is more a sarcastic tweet that is meant to poke fun at Rockstar Games. They might not release Red Dead Redemption 2 at launch, but they have always released their games on console aside from the first Red Dead Redemption. They can also get millions of sales on PC alone since there is a strong community there, but of course, nothing is announced in this regard from them.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch on October 25th for the PS4 and Xbox One. It also offers 4K support on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
