The Diablo series is one of the most popular series in the world with millions of fans across the world. If you’ve played the latest installment of the series, you would’ve noticed that the Monk class in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls isn’t exactly the strongest class to use in the game after its skills got nerfed from a ‘hitter’ to a ‘party-buffer’ which practically enrages most gamers who preferred the Monk class over the other classes.
Blizzard has heard the fans and have come to the conclusion that the Monk class needs a buff and they have announced that they will significantly buff the Monk class in the upcoming patch 2.1.
In a forum post on Battle.net, Diablo 3 Community Manager, Grimiku said that Blizzard will be making changes to the core attributes of the class which will solve the problem.
The Monk Class is not the only class which will be changed in Patch 2.1. The items will also be subject to change as they will have a set of new bonuses so make sure you keep all your items will with you. A list of all the items being changed is given below:
- Monkey King’s Garb (Monk)
- Thorns of the Invoker (Any Class)
- Raiment of a Thousand Storms (Monk)
- The Shadow’s Mantle (Demon Hunter)
- Firebird’s Finery (Wizard)
Before the patch is released, it will first be available in the public test realm to be tested before going live. The patch doesn’t have an official release date so we will just have to wait till Blizzard announces the release date.
