Mere days after the announcement of the latest Death Star expansion for Star Wars Battlefront, developer DICE has now come forward with the title of the fourth DLC for the game. The DLC is called Rogue One: Scarif and will act as a tie-in with the upcoming movie, Rogue One.
Niklas Fegraeus, Battlefront’s design director, revealed the name during a gaming panel at this year’s Star Wars Celebrations, and also revealed the identities of the 2 new playable heroes, Jyn Erso and Director Orson Krennic. Other than the names of the hero characters, all we know is that it will be set on the tropical planet of Scarif which was seen in the movie’s recent behind-the-scenes celebration reel.
Also in the panel, there was the reveal of the 2, previously unknown, heroes set to appear in the Death Star DLC. The characters are the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk and fan favourite Chewbacca.
The Death Star DLC is set to come out this September for Season pass holders and will feature new space and land maps alongside new weapons, Star Cards and the now revealed heroes. It will then be followed by Rogue One: Scarif which is set to release sometime this holiday season.
